Microsoft removed support for Python/R from sovereign and non-fabric tenants without notice

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community.
Also, thank you svredevoogd for your clarification and for confirming that a Message Center post was sent in February 2025 to impact customers with 3 months' notice regarding the end of support for R and Python visuals in the Power BI Service for non-Fabric and sovereign cloud environments.
If your organization did not receive this communication, We recommend raising a Microsoft Support ticket to investigate why the Message Center notification might not have reached your tenant. This can help ensure future communications are properly received.
