Microsoft SQL: Server provided routing information, but timeout already expired. Table: Dwh......
Hi everyone,
- When trying to refresh my dataset on Power BI service using the "Refresh Now" button or the "schedule refresh" one, it takes quite some time and ultimately give an error message such as follow:
"Failure details: The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support.Microsoft SQL: Server provided routing information, but timeout already expired. Table: DwhPostingDate." - The refresh on power bi desktop of the dataset is working fine and do not take more than 40min.
- Publishing the dataset to its respective Power BI service workspaces works fine as well
Troubleshoot done without any success:
- I have setup the timeout in the query editor of my dataset for the query i m having to a database to 180min following this thred (https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Power-Bi-Service-Refresh-timeout-expiration-issue/td-p/164836)
- I have scaled up my database performance to the max I could get
Anyone having any idea how i could fix this issue?
