Microsoft Power BI Service Change Log

How can we tell when the Power BI Service platform has had changes implemented by Microsoft? It would be nice to know this information in case something randomly stops working at a critical time like happened to us today. Were there any changes that went out today to the Power BI Service today?

I am not sure how to find out the service log. I do know that there are changes being constantly rolled out each week. I would like to think if there is an issue with a new change it would be fixed quickly.

Forgot to come back to this. GilbertQ you were right in that they do not have a change log for the service and they are constantly rolling patches out each week.

A change that was rolled out related to audiences caused some functionality in the app to change suddenly without notice. Unfortunately the timing was horrible. We had a VP set to present a solution to the Board of Directors and all the embedded paginated reports suddenly stopped working. No changes were made on our end (I verified in the  log) and it was all working perfectly up to about an hour before the presentation because the VP practiced it several times in the day.

Luckily I was able to help him find a workaround for the presentation but he was sweating it out and it defintiely changed the flow of things.

Since such a high up audience was aware of the issue, I was asked to do a root cause analysis. After determining we did not cause the issue on our side, I was asked to get answers from Microsoft. And the best they would tell me is yes they did make a change that would cause the issue. But they would not give any timeline of patches or updates that would tell me if it happened during the window of time. They said that is internal information only. Eventually my admins had to accept that answer. I mean that is SaaS, I tried to tell them it was a futile effort.
