Microsoft Forms, Power BI & Multiple Answers

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been covered but I haven't managed to find a solution. I am relatively new to Power BI, and have managed to create Reports from Excel datasets quite competently - however my new challenge is Microsoft Forms.

I have created a Streaming Dataset from Microsoft Forms into PowerBI (after a bit of trial and error following the instructions on this forum) - the challenge I have come across is I have multiple choice questions that can have multiple answers (e.g. Please Select All That Apply type questions).

On PowerBI it doesn't split these out but rather just provides columns with those responses as a single entry. For example, in the below image the right hand column shows "Face-to-Face" and "Telephone" - these are two distinct options on the form.

I am hoping someone may be able to assist me with an "instruction for dummies" type answer to this conundrum!

Many thanks,

James

    Hi jamesclark458 ,

I think you could embed the link of Form to web and connect it into Power BI Desktop to split data. For your scenario, it is streaming data in Service. We can't transform them directly.

    Best Regards,
