Microsoft Dynamics CRM Connector

Hi, We have Microsoft Dynamics CRM and would like to create datasets / dataflow. What connector should I use? Thanks, John

In PBI Desktop, I see few other connectors like below.

Do you perhaps know the differences?

The top one is an old connector that was replaced by Dataverse. I am not sure what the other ones are, but one looks specific to on-prem and another looks specific to customer insights and is in beta. I believe the Business Central connectors are for the ERP side of Dynamics (Dataverse is for CRM side). Anytime I am using Dynamics CRM, I use the Dataverse connector. I use the green one, but the one above it is likely that same, just also searchable through Dynamics.

    Thanks, I understand.

    Is it OK to use the following connector to connect to Dynamics CRM instead of using dataverse .

    Would there be any performance issues using one over the other?

      I've never used that one since the Dataverse connector was available by the time I needed to connect to CRM. I know that is the connector that was used prior to Dataverse.
