Microsoft Azure Consumption Insights API
Hi @Allan77,
It is possible to call APIs, services, and systems that aren’t available as prebuilt connectors by creating custom connectors.
If you are not familiar with custom connector, you can start with the custom connector overview:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/custom-connectors/
Besides, please check the following docs on Custom Connectors in Microsoft Flow for a reference:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/flow/developer/register-custom-api
Please take a try with it on your side.
Best regards,
Mabel
Hi @Allan77,
Are you trying to connect to Microsoft Azure Consumption Insights from Flow?
I haven’t seen any related docs on this connector. It seems that it is still not available on my side.
Could you share more details on it?
Best regards,
Mabel

Hi Mabel,
Yes that is correct, Microsoft is retiring the older REST API's at the end of Dec so it is definitly widley available. The link below has the details for connecting via PowerBI which does work. I would like to use Flow to download and persist the data on Onedrive versus what Im currently doing which is downloading the entire multi year data set evertime I refresh (nightly) in PowerBI.

Hi @Allan77,
Thanks for updating.
Azure Consumption Insights is now available for Power BI. However, it is not an available connector for Microsoft Flow yet.
Please check the following doc on flow connectors for more details:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/
If you need this feature, please feel free submit a request on Flow Ideas Forum so that it might be considered in future releases:

Best regards,
Mabel

Do you think its possible to use a custom connector? I tried to figure this out but couldnt get to a point where it would work. Im not at all familar with the settings for a custom connector so I was guessing at the configuration.
