Metrics - WoW historic chart

Hi everyone,

 

I've been tasked to create a dashboard with a few metrics like Sales week on week and more.

 

Most of those measures already exist but I'm having trouble getting the intended output in the Metrics card. 

Also, incidetnally, not exactly sure how Cycle over Cycle and Cycle to date exactly works, and the documentation seems outdated.

 

 

The intended output is to show cumulative sales WoW and compare them to last week sales.

 

For that, ideally the Details tab should show accumulates sales and reset on Sunday

 

If I could get the intended output I would most likely then share a mobile version of the app with the metrics included.

 

One more thing, what would be difference between connecting to the App and the report?

    Hey Ankit,

     

    Thanks for your answer, are you implying that there is no WoW functionality for visuals in the metrics section ?

    My query is related to just one example of 48 metrics that are not innately created on the existing reports, therefore I'm afraid it will create a lot of extra work creating and maintenance them.
    However, if we were to entertain this idea, are you suggesting that I create a static card measure for last week sales or a trend chart with date as an axis ? The first approach would mean that whenever a user click on the embedded report - triggered by seeing an outstanding metric - he/she wouldn't be able to immediately find insightful information about the metric itself.
