Hi
Is there a way to backup and (potentially) restore a PowerBI Scorecard/Metric? (including structure, targets, check-in comments etc)
I have not found a way to do this so far. I have looked at:
- backing up the Semantic Models associated with the Scorecards. They are not visiable from SSMS like other Semantic models associated with reports are.
- copying the Scorecard to a new Workspace. This is not desirable because the folder structure is not maintained and neither is the link to the connected dataset (and if it was it would double the cost by having a fully working duplicate etc).
Any other ways?
Thanks

Hi @_Gavster_ I think there is no direct way to back up and restore Power BI Scorecards, but you could try using the REST API to retrieve Scorecard data or use Dataflows for centralized storage and easier restoration. If needed, export key metrics periodically as a backup.

Hi @_Gavster_
As far as I am aware, this is not possible. You can create or both for an idea. https://aka.ms/FabricIdeas
