Hi,
I am trying to format a number in the thousands as 1,000 instead of 1.000K within a connected metric. Switching the format type from general to whole number or to decimal doesn't achieve this. Numbers below 1000 work with the whole number format but above 1000 always adds the K at the end.
For example I have a number 1766 that I want to format as 1,766 but I am stuck with either 1.766K as a general format or 2K as a whole number format.
Any help appreciated.
Eoin
Hi @eglennane
This should display 1766 as 1,766 without appending ‘K’ at the end.
Best Regards,
Hi @pmreis,
I am having the same issue, but the steps you referred to above I don't see in desktop version. I have the modeling tab but no properties pane or format option other than in column tools where I can change the format of the cell to decimal number. I also do not see where I can input a custom format string.
Thanks,
Eric
Hi @pmreis,
This problem is in a power bi workspace, online, not on the desktop app and not to do with measures. Thanks for the help though.
Eoin
