Methods of distributing reports - your experience

I'd be interested to know how other people/organisations are currently sharing Power BI reports and the positives and drawbacks of different methods.

My organisation has historically mainly distributed reports by creating the report in Power BI desktop, then publishing and adding users to the workspace.

We are starting to get instances now where the whole organisation needs access to certain reports, so are comparing "sharing" the report to an AD user group containing all users, with using Apps.

In this example, we're quite keen to avoid all users getting email notifications, which I think would happen if we added the "all user" group to a newer workspace.

With so many options available, how do you share reports, and what are the positives and negatives you find with different methods.
