Members cannot view report : Embed in SharePoint Online
Hello, i'm facing a few problem. Currently im a Pro User. I already create Workspace and invite a few collegues (Free User & Pro User inside). I embed report using Embed in Sharepoint Online, but my collegues with Free User cannot view the report, only Pro User can view. It's constraint of type of license?
Another situation is:
My friend is Free User, he create report and Embed in Sharepoint Online and invite a few collegues (Free User & Pro User). All of us can view the report that created by him as Free User.
So, correct me if im wrong:
1. If Free User create report and embed in sharepoint, all can view?
2. If Pro User create report and embed in sharepoint, only Pro can view?
Please advice me. Thank you
Hi mohdnazrimh ,
"1. If Free User create report and embed in sharepoint, all can view?"
In fact, If there is no Pro License or the report is not in Premium Capacity, the "Embed" feature cannot be used. Please confirm the following things with your friends:
1). Does he have a Pro License?
2). Whether his workspace is in Premium capacity?
3). Did he really use the "Embed to SharePoint Online" feature? (Embed with report web part in SharePoint Online )"2. If Pro User create report and embed in sharepoint, only Pro can view?"

Hey mohdnazrimh ,
ask your friend if the report that gets embedded in sharepoint online is backed by a Power Bi Premium license and if the link points to content in an app that is based on a workspace hosted on Premium capacity
I'm pretty sure about this: free users will not get asked if the content is located in an app that's backed by Premium capacity, or if the content points to a Premium workspace and the free users have the Viewer role assigned.

Tom
