8 years agoMy problem is that the 2 models were created awhile ago before the need to use them together arose. If i combine them together, the model will be too large. Each one has over 100 measures in each and I really don't want to combine them. I want to find a way to use them separately but join a common field only WHEN NEEDED.

8 years agoHi sbroaden,
Do you mean the 2 models are in two datasets (two different pbix files)?

Hi sbroaden,
This isn't supported by now. The workaround could be bringing the two datasets into one single file. Or, you can only import the needed data source into each file respectively. You can vote on an idea here or create a new one.
