Maps pinned to dashboards are blank

Hello Everyone,  I'm looking for a little assistance in troubleshooting.  About a month ago, all maps that I have pinned to a dashboard went blank.

They maps are still in working order when you click on them and go to the report.

I have deleted, repinned, refreshed and republished and still blank.

There have been no changes to the account during this time frame.

Any ideas on how I can fix?

Thank you.

Thankyou, @lbendlin for your response.

Hi VonMurray,

Based on my understanding, as the Azure Maps visuals render correctly within the report but appear blank only when pinned to a dashboard, this indicates a dashboard tile rendering behavior issue.

Please kindly follow the steps below, as they may help resolve the problem:

  1. Create a new dashboard and re-pin, to rule out any cached tile corruption.
  2. Simplify the Azure Maps visual in Desktop by temporarily disabling the reference or traffic layers and using the Road map style. Re-publish and re-pin.
  3. Test in an InPrivate or Incognito browser session after clearing the cache.

If the tiles remain blank after these steps, and since the report itself works and the issue started recently without any changes, we request you to open a support ticket using the following link: Microsoft Fabric Support and Status | Microsoft Fabric so that the backend tile rendering service can be validated.

We hope the information provided is helpful in resolving the issue. Should you have any further queries, please feel free to contact the Microsoft Fabric community.

Thankyou.

Thank you for your assistance.  I have followed all suggestions. Yesterday, the new dashboard's pinned maps showed the world image but were blank.  Today, all maps pinned to the dashboards are completely blank. Including the new dashbboard. We will submit a support ticket.

Thank you for the reply.

They were originally filled maps.  I received a PowerBi desktop prompt to upgrade them to Azure maps in early 2025. The pinned display issue just started about a month ago. No issues before then.

The maps themselves are working with no issues.  It is the pinned tile that is displaying a blank image.
