Map visual 'not supported'

When I have published my map to web, I get this:

map.PNG

Is there a workaround/solve for this or is it just unsupported?

Please help!

Hi @garceborwn

Based on the official document about Publish to web, this limitation has been listed

Limitations

The following are not currently supported or available with Publish to web:

  1. Reports using row level security.
  2. Reports using any Live Connection data source, including Analysis Services Tabular hosted on-premises, Analysis Services Multidimensional, and Azure Analysis Services.
  3. Reports shared to you directly or through an organizational content pack.
  4. Reports in a group in which you are not an edit member.
  5. "R" Visuals are not currently supported in Publish to web reports.
  6. Exporting Data from visuals in a report which has been published to the web
  7. ArcGIS Maps for Power BI visuals
  8. Secure confidential or proprietary information

Workaround: I suggest you could use Bing Map as replace.

Hi

Seems that the visual is not support by Microsoft. What needs to be done to have the visual certified by MS?

Many thanks.

Hey,

unfortunately you can't do anything. If you are using the ArcGIS custom visual it's simply not supported using the feature "Publish to web".

You might consider to use the MapBox custom visual instead.

Regards,

Tom
