Manually Refresh Reports by Multiple Users

I am trying to figure out how best to set up a situation where multiple administrative users can manually add new data to a data model and refresf reports on the Service. I've tried importing from OneDrive and Publishing from a folder on OneDrive.

In our current situation my team is having to manually download updated reports, save them to a onedrive folder, refresh a report, then publish that refreshed report to the Power BI service. Currently only one user can edit the report on OneDrive without having to download the report and save it at which point they are having difficulty navigating to the correct OneDrive location.

How can we save and share a PBIX report so that multiple users can add data, manually refresh, and publish that report? We have OneDrive, Sharepoint, Office 365, and Power BI Pro accounts.

Thanks for your consideration.

Hi @Anonymous ,

If I understand your scenario correctly that you have a pbix in OneDrive and only one user could modify the pbix directly in OneDirve. You want to achieve that all users could modify the pbix directly, manually refresh, and then publish that report?

Normally, the share in power bi service means that we could share the content to others or the users could edit the report in power bi service based on the dataset if they have edit permission, but they cannot add new data in the data model.

For your requirement, I'm afraid that you may could try with Power BI template file. You could create a report and save it as pbit, then upload it to OneDrive.
