Hi everyone,
Is there a way to disable or modify the service-level report title?
It seems this feature is mandatory these days in PowerBI Service, rather than in the past you could toggle it off.
We have this sort of metadata displayed within reports already, presented as the business require.
Some specific issues common on other threads which don't seem to be resolved
The US-format in particular can mislead users (ie 8th of October they may read as 10th August refresh date)
Thanks in advance
David
As per suggestion, this is now an open idea
PowerBI Ideas: Managing the 'New look' Report Banner / Header / Title / Metadata
Hi, @aggregator3000
Currently, you can't modify the service-level report title.
But you can consider adding a card to your report to display refresh date in a custom format.
If you're an administrator of your Power BI tenant, you can open a support ticket to check with the MS Support team and they may have a way to switch to the original interface.
Best Regards,
Community Support Team _ Eason
Thanks for confirming Eason, I'll pass this on
Appreciate suggestion re display. We already do this, however the service-level title confuses users.
If this is important to you please consider voting for an existing idea or raising a new one at https://ideas.powerbi.com
Thanks @lbendlin ,
I'll go and add to the ideas and update post.
One thing out of our control yet can impact the UX for end users and business sponsors
It's so infuriating that we have no control over this whatsoever. I note the original poster has raised a new idea (thanks!), but there was an existing idea that already has 100+ votes so please consider voting for this one too: https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=329ec092-d560-eb11-8fed-281878de77da
