Managing Subscriptions UX is obscure

So, I wanted to remove an email subscription for a report. Not sure whether I've ever done this before so I had to figure out how to do this. It turns out;

To delete a report subscription I have to;
  • click on the Settings gear icon top right...
  • click on the Settings menu item
  • click on Subscriptions
  • hover over the subscription to find the pen indicating Edit and click that.
  • click the trash can in the top right.

Like a number of things, there seems to be no trend toward increasing coherence about UX. Bits of functionality are scattered around in different locations.

If I'm managing a report subscription... I would expect to find the subscription in the Workspace where the report lives. Or maybe under my profile, or as an item on the Settings gear menu. It's not a "Setting".

And rather than having to find and click Edit on the Subscription... I would expect a "More Options" vertical elipsis, or a trash icon, in the list.

These kinds of arcane idiosyncracies make it difficult to introduce the product to business users. It's fiddly and counter-intuitive, and it somewhat mars the experience of what is otherwise a remarkably good product.
