Managing Security on Published Model via external table

Hello all - I have a new Model with potentially 250 users and want to be able to manage the security via an external Table maintained by another team.
Row Level Security is enabled (user e-mail lookup to role) and the external table is linked and all works nicely but only if I add a test user e-mail into a role in the RLS via the Workbooks / Dataset / Security function.
I was hoping to avoid having to add 250 users via this function. Is there a way to avoid adding all 250 users manually?

Hi @robertsmss

It looks like you would like to apply the created RLS role to these 250 users, right?

In Power BI service, we can add a security group or distribution list to be members of a RLS role. In your scenario, if there is a security group or distribution list in your organization contains these 250 users, you can just add the security group or distribution list. See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-rls#add-members

If I misunderstand your requirement, please feel free to let me know. 😊
