Managing Power BI Service updates

Hi,

Is it possible to restrict Power BI Service updates so that we can manage which updates to release within the company's domain ourselves?

I came across an old ticket from 2022, but perhaps there have been improvements in this area since then?

  • Hi. It's not that straight forward as a new feature a new button to prevent it. However, there is an admin portal for Fabric that contains Tenant Settings. Many features released at Fabric or PowerBi Service are in there to let users, a group of users or none users to use it.

You need a Fabric Administrator Role at your tenant in order to see those settings.

You can check some settings at the docs: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/admin/tenant-settings-index

If you don't have access at all and you want to ask for specific features, write them here and we can help.

    I hope that helps,
