Manage Access Permission dashboard in a workspace

Hello Community,

I hope you can help me with a problem!

Basically, I am a Contributor of a workspace and I have 2 dashboard in this workspace.

One dashboard has the button Manage Access and I can give the permission to access to this dashboard.

But, the other dashboard the button Manage access is completely absent and I am not able to grant the access to anyone.

As you can see here there isnt the button Manage Access or Gestisci Autorizzazioni

What I have noticed is that one dashabord has the dataset's owner the entire workspace (that one with the button "Manage Access"). The other one has the dataset's owner just myself (that one without the button " Manage Access"). It could be this one the reason of the issue?

How I can solve this problem?

it makes sense to me that you could only share with someone if you are a dataset owner

Hi @MarcoMagallo ,

As you said, you need to have build access to the dataset in order to manage the dashboard and reports.

The Contributor role is sufficient and does not need to be upgraded to Member role. or you can contact admin to change your role.

Thank you for the answer! I think my problem is that I am Contributor and I need Member role.
