I have a very complex PowerBI DataSet with litterally thousands of columns and scores of tables joined together in the model. The model works and is meeting the needs of report creation for relatively sophisticated PowerBI users. However, I want to create a simpler view of this Dataset that a novice powerBI user could work with to build simple reports.
I know I can make a copy of the .pbix file and hide all the columns I don't want visible in the "Simple Version", but then if I publish it, I bascially have duplicate models in my Premium service of the exact same data and I also have to worry about keeping them in synch going forward.
Is there a way to allow some users to see all the columns and other users a limited list of columns.
Thanks in advance,
