Making changes to a dataflow that feeds into a semantic model

Hello all,

 

I have a dataflow I built to feed into a semantic model. I'd like to make some changes to the dataflow (add some columns etc), so my question is - in order for the changes in the dataflow to pull through to the semantic model in the Power BI service, will I need to re-publish the model into the service? Or is there a way around this?

There is a large archive of data within this model so I'd like to avoid re-publishing if possible!

    Hi Anonymous 

    Any change at the source like here your Dataflow will need readjustment of the semantic model and it can only be done in power BI desktop. Therefore a republish of the semantic model should follow.
