Maintaining a pbix file across two workspaces

Hi There,

Is it possible to maintain a pbix file, ie make changes\delete visuals in desktop which then updates the report (in the service) in two workspaces?

Thanks,

Ajay

Hi @AjaySonoo,

If I understand correctly.
This is exactly what you want:

How to change the #PowerBI desktop file connection from data model to a Power BI Service dataset or ...

Hi. I don't know why would you have two exact same reports in two different workspaces. You can just work in only ONE local.pbix and publish/replace it to two different workspaces. Then you will maintain one file in two workspaces.

If you need the reports to be different it might be a good idea thinking the first pbix as dataset of other two reports live conneted to the first.

I hope that makes sense and helps you.
