Mailchimp - The operation has timed out

Hi everyone,

 

I'm trying to use for the first time the Mailchimp content pack and I'm getting the error below:

 

The operation has timed out.
Next refresh for MailChimp is scheduled for 07/11/2016 23:30:00.

Our Mailchimp account has more than 300+ lists and thousands of subscribers. I can see that it took a lot of time for the operation to time out. Is there a way to make this work? Suggestions?

    I am a support Engineer working on this issue. Could you please provide me the latest Activity Id or full Error Message to further work on resolving this issue. Please respond to the post as early as possible.

    Please post me back with the issue's error meassage and latest activity ID to further troublkeshoot this issue, as a ticket has been opened with this issue. Please provide me these above details for further troubleshoot.

      Hi,

      Would it be possible to use the activity id included in the original message? Otherwise I'll need to recreate the scenario.. It's has been more than one month since I posted the error here...

        mateusmorato I have tested against the activity id internally but couldnt get the  error logs from backend so I was requesting you to get the recent one.

         

        Please could you get me the latest activity ID by recreating the issue and post the complete error message to me, also the rest of the data on how you are accessing the mailchimp, Is this working through Power BI Desktop or Online services. All details would really help me resolve this.

         

        I have been waiting you to post since long time and the person who has created the ticket doesnt hold all details so i could have proceeded with troubleshooting futher.

         

        Also post me any other questions you have regarding this, if any.

    Hi mateusmorato I know this reply is very late. Since the Mailchimp service pack was deprecated, you would have to look for another way. As a workaround, maybe you can use a 3rd party connector, it can save you a lot of time compared to other options. I've tried windsor.ai, supermetrics (which doesn't have PBI as a destination, so you first have to export to Google Sheets and then export to PBI) and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options
