Mail enabled Security Group Permissions and Datasets
- 4 years ago
Hi, NorwoodFrog ;
First, is your workspace a classic workspace or a new one? Note that classic workspaces are relatively restrictive, and may not be if you have data set permissions, so if you are a classic workspace, try upgrading to a new one.
Second, check whether the function of enabling mail is turned off. It is better to enable it.
In Addition, In the new workspaces:
- Assign workspace roles to user groups: security groups, distribution lists, Office 365 groups, and individuals.
- Use more granular workspaces roles for more flexible permissions management in a workspace.

v-yalanwu-msft it doesn't appear I'm able to add a Mail-enabled group to an Audience. Is this a limitation in the current version of Audiences? Thanks.
