MYSQL connection with Power BI web Application

Hi team,           Is there any way of connecting the MYSQL database with Power BI web application without involving desktop application. Your help will be really appreciated.

As far as I know this is currently not possible.

 

You could use Dataflows to connect to the MySQL Database (It might need a gateway) and then you could use this dataflow in your Power BI report?

GilbertQ can you please explain further what you mean by gateway? Gateway will be initiated from my system to reach out to server?

    Hi Alexj1 

     

    You would need to install and configure the Power BI Gateway to connect to your mySql Database to refresh the data.
