MS Fabric - Calender Table - Date Hierarchy

Hi Everyone,

How do we set date hierarchy for date field. I see it is datetime type in semantic model. But in visual I cannot format it in date type or expand the date hierarchy like in the earlier version of pbi desktop.

You can check this article out. It will help you create a date table https://www.sqlbi.com/articles/creating-a-simple-date-table-in-dax/

Don't forget to sort the Text Columns for Month by the Month Number and the Text for Days with Weekday number. This will help with visuals by keeping the names in order

Then add whatever hierarchy you wish to a visual. Add the Year column first, then Quarter, Month, Week, Day
