MS Data Gateway - data integrity

As the  technical whitepaper said, When data is actively being used or accessed, it is considered in transit. This includes activities such as interacting with a report or refreshing a dataset. Power BI uses HTTPS, TCP/IP and TLS to ensure data is encrypted and maintains integrity during the transport.

So I don’t think the gateway will affect data integrity. Maybe you mean Assume referential integrity in relationship or Row-level security (RLS)  ?
