MPE definitions not available?

How do we see the underlying definitions used to create an MPE.  The resource ID of the following doesn't seem to be shown n the portal.

Hi, @dbeavon3

Go to the Azure portal and find the specific resource for which you want to view the MPE definition. On the resource's overview page, look for the JSON View or Properties button. This will display the JSON format configuration of the resource. The resource ID that uniquely identifies the resource will be included in the JSON view. You can copy this ID for further use. You can check the following link:

Hi @Anonymous

I know how to find the resources in the azure portal, and the resource ID.  That is not the question, (or I you can be sure that I would not be asking in this Power BI community.)

The question is about power bi in particular.  How do we find the config details of the MPE in Power BI when we only have the name ("plinkEndpoint-datalake-dev")?

Consider storage accounts, for example, they have a number of different "groupID" selections that could be used for dfs, blob, queues, and so forth.  The underlying of the MPE in Power BI would clarify those details, and allow us to troubleshoot any basic networking problems related to private traffic.

These MPE's have a long history going back to Synapse, and ADF before that.  In every one of those environments it was possible to review the configuration of these MPE's after-the-fact (on the client side.)

I would also like to know if there is a back-end REST api to interrogate or even modify the set of MPE's in a workspace.  This may serve my purposes, if the U/I in the portal isn't quite up to speed yet.
