Loading History into Scorecard Metrics

In most systems when new KPIs or Key measurements are identified, you would typically load history into it to identify a baseline. The data tab of each metric does show history that is tracked daily, but only as of the day you create the metric.

Is there a way to do this with this Scorecard feature and allow history to be added.

I would want to:

1. Create a metric and link it to a report as normal

2. Import or load history into that metric for prior dates

In this way, it could start with (for example) 6 months of data in the trend chart as opposed to just starting blank.

Is there a way to do this directly into the dataset of the scorecard or anywhere else i am missing?

Thanks!

Hi @PC_PBIGUY ,

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there is currently no such way to implement it with scorecard,

but you can pin the data you need as two tiles on the same dashboard to achieve a similar effect.

Thanks. Thats what i figured. I might submit an idea for this.

The solution you mentioned is not as elegant as it requires the user to click the button to see the supporting report for the metric as opposed to seeing it right in the history popup but that makes sense.
