List slicer is not coming in Power BI service

Hello all,

I have a power Bi report which has latest List slicer has added, and published in Power BI service. However the report doesnt show the List slicer in the Power BI Service. How can this be sorted?

Yes, I have the same issue. Mind only stopped working yesterday

Hi @sanu @hevelinlouise ,

Based on the testing, the report doesn't show the List slicer in the Power BI Service.

The new list slicer currently under early development stage(Preview) and not reccommended to use in Production.

So, try to use the original slicer as much as possible before this new slicer feature is officially applied.

I'm having the same issue, with both new slicers.

To resolve the issue of the List Slicer not appearing in Power BI Service:

1. Clear Browser Cache: Try clearing the browser cache and refresh the report.
2. Check Permissions: Ensure you have proper permissions for viewing the updated report.
3. Republish the Report: Re-upload the report to Power BI Service in case the slicer was not properly synced.
4. Check Power BI Service Version: Ensure that the Power BI Service is updated to support the latest slicer features.

If none of these work, you may want to test on another browser or machine.

Have checked all of this and I work for a large company with the latest and the list slicer does not work in the Power BI Service since earlier this week. Last time it would work was Friday 18th October 2024 (that I noticed). Very annoying, I know have to go change the slicers across various reports until microsoft fixes this.
