List or report on Power BI Dataflow Meta Data like Dataflow- Names, Properties, Descriptions, Source

For documentation, controlling and to publish for non Members of the Workspace I would like to report in PowerBI on the Meta Data linked to a Workspaces Data Flows.

I would like to create a report on Power BI Dataflow Meta Data like Properties, Settings, Refresh- Creation- Change-dates/history Data Sources etc.  Does anyone know how to link to the PowerBi Workspace/Dataflow meta data?

e.g.

  • Dataflow-
    • Name,
    • Descriptions,
    • Gateway Connections (Gateway/Department/Contact/Status/Sources
    • Data Source Credentials Status
    • Refresch Schedule (frequency/time Zone/Times/Notification)
    • Endorsement
  • Dataflow-Entitiy-
    • Name
    • Description
    • Fields (field Names / Data Type)
    • Incremental Refresh Settings (all fields)
    • ML Model
  • Dataflow-Entitiy-Query
    • Name
    • Description
    • Source
      • Credential Status
  • Hi FFFritz ,

Maybe you could try to connect to the dataflow in Power BI Desktop and then zip the pbix file to get metadata of it.

    • connect to your dataflow in Power BI

    • Rename the pbix file to *.zip file

    • Open the file of Metadata

You could reference the blog to learn more details. Hope this can help you.
