Linked Entities confusing when selecting in Get Data form in PBI Desktop
Does anyone else find it confusing when in a Dataflow you have some linked entities to create a computed entity, but because you need to set the linked ones to "enable load" so that they are actually treated as a computed entity, it then means when browsing them in PBI Desktop, you see the linked entities alongside your computed one.
Be nice to hide these somehow.
I've found that you can rename the linked entity in your transformation dataflow and call it something obviously different so that people know not to connect to that one. I've just used the prefix "linked - xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
Anyone else have any thoughts ?
