Link to PDF Files and Pivot Visual Row Limit

Hi,

I want to setup a pbi report that has high level view but ability to view detail lines

1. On the detail line, possible to have hyperlink to pdf file > how/example please?

2. Audience is data centric and wants the option to see many detail records, what is the limit the pivot can show records without failing/hanging > workaround tips and tricks please?

1. Use the standard navigation editor features of the Power BI app if you have a Premium capacity.  If not then you need to code that manually.

2. No limits, especially if you use DirectQuery connection and/or aggregation.   Teach your users how to use "Analyze in Excel"  and enable the "Personalize Visual" option.

2. Direct Query, the user base is idfficult. I want to keep everything in report or export the analyse in excel?

2. If your user base is difficult then Analyze in Excel is the right answer, it is the most powerful and user friendly version of connecting to large amounts of data without importing it.
