Line chart reference shade area ignored when published
I know the core visual team is trying to allow for ref lines to go behind charts. Can you see any options on the service to set ref shade area behind graph. Or try changing the background on the service to white as a test. Might be funny early release before fabcon

Thanks! Your comment gave me an idea. My background and shade colors are the same, with the shade area at 20% transparency. The effect I am trying to achieve is to have the data lines in the deselected areas "greyed out". The reference lines themselves are set to "Behind", but the shade areas don't have that option and appear in front on Desktop.
I had assumed that the shade areas were being ignored on the service, but it turns out they are just getting pushed behind. I tried moving the reference lines to "In front" and the corresponding shade areas moved with them. That makes sense, it's just a different behavior on the desktop. Perhaps the desktop is simply out of sync at this time and the service is actually applying the proper layer order.
