Hello,
I have a pareto chart I have made which is quite complex. The end result hangs on the ability to sort by the line value which was working fine untill today (17 Nov 2021) in the published report.
I can see the difference between the desktop version, which does what I need, and the published version which no longer has the option:
Desktop option has "Sort By" and the three options: Shared Axis, Column Value, Line Value. In this scenario i need to sort by the line value.
Published version has the "sort axis" option but i'm only presented with the shared axis and the column values, not the line values.
Note this published report has only just changed (unable to sort by line value) in this way so i am wondering if it's to do with the Nov 2021 update - it was working perfectly when last viewed on Monday.
I have DAX queries which handle the calculation for the Pareto chart, specifically creating a pareto chart whenthe column values are the same.
Thanks to anyone who might be able to help.

Hi @J_Glees
The November update for Power BI changed Sorting options on charts (see: Power BI November 2021 Feature Summary | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft Power BI) I think this has broken something to do with sort ordering on combo charts in the Service.
You should check the Issues forum here:

To see if anyone else has raised the issue and if it is not there, then you could post it.
Alternatively if you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
Hope this helps

Thank you for the guidance - bit of a novice! I have found someone else with the same issue so commented on that.
