    Hi JonV

     

    I have tried it from the Power BI Desktop settings and then uploaded, and this has stopped it from happening.


    The other option is you can go under visual headers and configure the details there, so that it will not show the three buttons "..." which will then disable them from exporting the underlying data

    Thanks GilbertQ. I have tried changing the permissions in the Desktop version again. Apparently I needed to back out of the workspace in the online service and come back in before the changes took effect. Glad to know it's working though!

     

    I'd love to mark your reply as a solution, but the boards here keep giving me errors when I try to do so. :(
