Hi
I've published an app in PowerBI which is made up of a 5 reports. Now there are a few other reports within the same workspace and are not part of that app.
Is there a way to limit access to those other report (which are not in the app) from people who just have access to the app?
Further, how can i stop people with access to the app, access the workspace?
Thanks
Don't grant folks who have access to the app, access to the workspace
The users you want to have access to the app, should be specified in the "Permissions" tab when publishing or updated the app
Same for the other reports in the workspace, grant them access to the report, but not the workspace
For those reports, use the "Share" action to grant users access to the report
IMO, I think end user consumption of reports should either be done through apps or report sharing, and not through workspace access. I think workspace access should only be granted to folks maintaining the workspace and report authors
