Limitation of data refresh

Hello,

at the moment I'm evaluating different BI Software products for our company.

We are a rather small company wit arounf 10 employees but a big amount of (mostly unstructured) data.

The data ist hosted on an MySQL Server inside our Intranet.

As far as I understood it until now, I need a pro user Account for every employee when I connect to the SQL Server via the PowerBI Gateway.

But the big question is: What is exactly meant by "1M rows/hour" under data refresh?https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing

Our database currently consists of approximately 800,000 rows. And soon we will get over 1M.

Will PowerBI be able to refresh the data for this database or not?

Thanks in advance for your answer

"1M rows/hour" refers to streaming/real time use cases.  i.e. when you are pushing data (e.g. through the API) into a Power BI Model then you are limited to 1M rows/hour.

For your scenario when you are pulling/refreshing data from an external source, this streaming limitation does not apply.
