Limit exceeded error after refresh the report - Connected through Databricks.Query

There is on report that I faced this error almost everyday after the refresh get triggered.

ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][Hardy] (35) Error from server: error code: '0' error message: 'Unable to continue fetch after reconnect. Retry limit exceeded.'..

The report data set connection is using Databricks.Query, I also added the EnableQueryResultDownload = "0" in the query. However still get an error.

Hi @Expiscornovus , thank you for you answer really appreciate that. I'm not sure this solution is for only when an error happens when refresh report on Power BI desktop or not. Because for my report it happens when I refresh the dashboard in PowerBI service (in the workspace on cloud)

Yes, correct. In that thread it was happening in the Desktop client and not in the Power BI service, so this might not be applicable to your situation.

Just to double check, you are using this method to connect, correct?

And you used the import mode in the connection, correct?

Which type of authentication are you using for that setup? (PAT, Entra Id or Username/password)

Hi @Sukritta,

In the below thread it was suggested clearing the permissions on the data source might help.

That might be worth a shot?
