Licensing question for Power BI
Hi,
To give you a brief overview, we have Office 365 E5 license for multiple users, users withPowerBI PPU add-on, some are PowerBI Free.
We are consolidating the licenses. I want to know what license needed for users accessing datasets built in PPU.
Also, if you can provide resource article from Microsoft.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Users must have a Premium Per User (PPU) license to access content in a Premium Per User (PPU) workspace or app.

Just making sure: is the PowerBI Premium per user Add-on sufficient? We have this license but we need a few more if that is the case. Also should we replace the PowerBI to PowerBi PPU license instead?

NVM I got it. You need PowerBI Pro license or Office 365 E5 prior of assinging PowerBI Premium Per user Add-on to unlock advanced Premium capabilities. So after assigning PowerBi Premium Per user Add-on, users can access content in a Premium Per User (PPU) workspace or app.
Could be wrong. Happy to be corrected.
