Licensing: help to understand
Hello everyone.
I cannot understand the best solution for the company where I'm working. I'm explaining my current situation.
I develop different PBI projects for different customers. Nowadays, for every customer, I sell a PBI PRO license ( 1 customer : 1 license PRO). With this situation, every customer has a own tenant. This customer has to examine the report that I create (he hasn't to modify it).
I would like to understand if I can create only one tenant (that I manage, only me) and create as many work areas as customer; this work areas has permissions.
Can I implement a solution like above? Which licenses do I need to purchase?

There are a few ways to do this and it varies between cost and complexity. To keep things simple, you can have a look at this setup:
Step 1: Report hosting setup:
1. Use your tenant2. Create 1 workspace for each customer
3. Create the reports and place in the workspace per customer
Step 2: Managing your customers:1. Add your customers to your Guest active directory
2. Assign them with pro license
Step 3: Sharing the report:
1. Make sure external sharing is enabled in Power BI admin portal
2. Click share on the report, and share it to the customer. They will get a link to view the report
This setup doesnt require your customers to access the workspace but they will have access to view the reports.

This license is billed on a per-user basis:
You can create accounts for your customers in your tenant. After that, you can add the corresponding account to the corresponding workspace by adding the corresponding account:
There are different roles in the workspace, such as viewers, who will only be able to view the reports in the workspace and will not be able to edit them. You can learn about their role from the links below:

Additionally, if you don't like letting your customers see the content of your workspace, you can configure a customer permission for individual reports/semantic models in your workspace:
In addition, you can make the report visible to your customers by:

You need to understand the sharing features supported by each license according to what I described above. Under different licenses, the share function is supported to different degrees.

You can create a separate workspace for each of your clients. And assign the appropriate permissions to each workspace.
You'll need a Pro license and above to create a shared workspace.
If you create a workspace with a Pro license, you can share it with customers with a Pro license and give them the workspace role to manage their read and write access to reports and semantic models.

If you have many customers and your customers don't necessarily have paid licenses for Power BI, then you can consider purchasing a Power BI premium license, the difference between the two licenses you can learn from the official blog below:

If I purchase a Premium per user license, I'll pay about 18,70€ every month. Correct?
Then, I can create a workspace for every customer; but, how can the customer connect to the workspace? With a user (one for every customer) that is created on the tenant?
This user will login on the tenant, correct?
