Licensing for guest users

Hi,

 

I have added three guest users to our microsoft admin centre.

 

Do we need to buy them a pro license to access our worskpaces and reports or do they buy a pro license and login with their work email.

 

Help appreciated.

    Hey Anonymous ,

     

    yes, when a guest user should access a workspace, he needs a Pro license. If he doesn't have a Pro license, you have to provide a Pro license for him.

      We pruchased an PowerBI pro account and assigned it to the guest user.

       

      We got the guest user to login to powerbi using their normal domain email and password however it is not associated with the guest user.  If we got them to try and login with the guest user account and enter their password it did not let them in and becuase they are a guest user we cannot reset their password.  

       

      Help appreciated.

    Thanks selimovd 

     

    I got the user to login using their username and password. However the workspace is not visible to them.

    If I get them to login in with the guest account email it asks for a password, but there is no option for me to reset their account password.
