I am having trouble with the last refresh date on the Power Bi service at the report level . I have bunch of dashboards and reports created and have published the same using organizational content pack . These reports are created using live connection to the SSAS Tabular models . The last refresh dates for these reports shows the correct value for my login however the users who are consuming the content pack do not see the updated last refresh date . The dashboard shows the updated values but the date is incorrect .
Can some one please help out with the same .
Mine its not showing any date now
Same Here looks like the MSPowerBITeam is making some chnages to the same .
There's no need to schedule refresh when using any direct query mode. The information will always be up to date, because no data is cached on the Power BI Service servers - everything is generated on demand by queries fired against the source DB.
The dashboard tiles are also automatically updated for a live query connection.
Thank You for the response , I understand that and I see no issues with the refresh of data . It is the last refresh date that is incorrect for the users using the content pack .
Yes, we have noticed it too, our users reported the data not being updated.
I spent half of a day reviewing our dashboards, reports, datasets and dataset refresh settings, and content packs end to end.
Finally concluded that the refreshes were working but the labels mislead us.
The labels are confusing people and should reflect the latest data refresh, but they are not doing that.
