Is anyone else having difficulty using the service today? If I move to a report it takes 20 minutes to load changes. I can log in fine (service interuption error on help page). I have also tried restarting my computer and using different browsers.
Really taking a hit on productivity.

Not for me - I just logged on and have the same spinning wheel syndrome (aka: useless reports)... (I'm in the North Central US region)
An update for our company, as of this morning the problems continue. It either doesnt work at all and just spins, or it takes 5-10 minutes to load a single page. It's been a few days since we've been able to use the service.
Also noticed the "Status" has been switched back to "No Known Issues: PowerBI is running smoothly"?
@Qiuyun_Yu @orionlee Same issues here but from a different region: North Europe (Ireland)
Still awful. Everything was fine at 5 pm. Now nothing works and I got a new error "(404) Not Found"
Our whole entire Finance/Accounting team is waiting on me to update the dataset for our month end meeting. This is beyond frustrating.

As the old saying goes "It doesn't take a genius to spot a goat in a flock of sheep." . . . I think I am noticing a pattern here.

@orionlee wrote:Ok great, thanks for all the input everyone. We can see from telemetry that imported datasets are occasionally hit pretty hard performance-wise (as opposed to on-prem datasets connected to via gateway), and it seems like some regions are hit a lot harder than others even though most regions are hitting occasional issues.
To help correlate this telemetry with what everyone here is seeing, could you please state the region for your tenant where the slow loading is happening for you please? You can identify the region by going through the menu in the top right "?->About Power BI" and reading the "Your data is stored in" property in the dialog.
North Central US (Illinois)
North Central US (Illinois) - very slow/not working here too 😞
Same issues for me. The same report will be fine one minute and unusable another, it just sits with spinning circles. The issue doesn't go away quickly either, sometimes it won't load for hours.
This has been affecting our reporting for the past few weeks now, and continually getting worse. Reports that I've had working for nearly a year without issues are now being impacted when no changes have been made. This is causing our company to second guess moving to PowerBI as a solution. This has got to be fixed.
Hi All,
I already reported this issue internally, will keep you updated once I get any feedback.
Thanks for your support and understanding.
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
I'm getting the same thing. Not trying to publish anything new, just loading reports after a refresh. I've had spinning circles for about a half hour on one report tab now. Not the first time in the last week this has happened but it's particularly bad this morning. I know it's been reported already, just confirming how widespread this issue is.
I've been having the same issues. Hope this gets fixed soon!!
As an update, the problems continue for us this morning. Today's the first time it didnt fix itself overnight. We can't publish or access content, we're getting the same endlessly spinning circles on screen. Some type of acknowledgement or status update would be extremely helpful. In the meantime we're going to file a formal ticket through our premier support rep.
We're having this issue as well where we can't access or publish any content several times per day. It seems to have gotten alot worse lately, use to happen maybe once/week or so but now its several times a day.
We havent found a solution. If we delete content from the content pack and site and try to republish we get the attached error message. If we try and publish brand new using a different name we get the attached error. The only remedy seems to be waiting, sometimes its a day, sometimes just a few hours.
Currently experiencing this issue. Not sure why the issue was listed as completed. Can't tag @CharlesSterling but at least I can tag over here.
@v-qiuyu-msft can you help us notify Chuck that this is not solved?

Thanks everyone for posting details about the performance issues you are experiencing, we will investigate what is causing the slowdown.
Just an update, it is happening very early this morning. I have two version of the same report. The first finished in a good time. The second has been spinning now for 10 minutes. The only difference is that one is in the group and the other is on my personal workspace. Both were published to the web using the publish function.

@kcantor@Dave2@Tishchenko@Akahn I have made some test but not reproduced the issue currently. The report is loading and updating within one minute. I guess the Power BI Service is working fine now. Please try it again in your environment, check if the slow issue persists.
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
