KPI Distance to Goal Percentage Changing Decimals
Hi,
When I use the KPI visual, I want the "Distance to Goal" to display as a percentage with 1 place after the decimal. I can get it to look correct in Desktop by switching to "Both" (value and percentage), changing it to one decimal place, then going back to just "percent."
However, when I publish to service, the format changes to two decimal places for the percentage on "Distance to Goal." Does anyone have a solution for this issue???
Thanks!
Hi Dave1mo1 ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
I tried to replicate your issue in 2.139.2054.0 64-bit (January version) and in 2.140.679.0 64-bit (February, 2025). While in January version I was able to change the decimal points in desktop but after publishing it to service those changes did not get reflected there.
Whereas in February version changes never materialized in desktop itself.

I have the latest version of the Desktop, and even though you change the Style to Both and Value decimal places to 1, the percentage still shows 2 decimal points. This festure you want is not available. Try posting to https://ideas.fabric.microsoft.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=1bd79e10-82a8-4d82-af3b-9b2eb754cca6

It was available with the workaround I mentioned above until the last few weeks. Thanks for the update - I'll post it there.
