I have been experiencing an issue with the New KPI Card visual in both Power BI Desktop and Service. The spacing has randomly changed making it appear that there are four columns in the reference data labels.
Is this a bug with the new KPI Card Visual that anyone else is experiancing? I have recreated the card and have not had any luck.
Current Visual with the spacing issue.
Desired result which has no spacing issue.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,@dylankaiser4
I am glad to help you.
Thank you for your reply.
I think it may be a versioning issue, as some users have reported problems with the new card in Power BI Desktop after updating to the June version, and our power BI team has internally reported problems with the new card in the latest June version of Desktop. The engineers on the product team are now aware and will do their best to resolve the issue.
Could you please check if your version of Desktop is the June version, because when I tested the May version, I had the same settings as you did, but I did not get the error you are experiencing!
We are verifying this issue and until it is resolved, you can roll back to the May version.
If you want to rollback to May version you can refer to this link

Hi @v-jtian-msft, thank you for responding to my post.
Toggling the preview feature for the New Card Visual did not work for me.
To be more clear, my issue is more focused on the reference label spacing and how the title/values are being cut off despite the available space.
Screenshot of the Format Pane on the Layout section:
With the file you attached, I was able to mirror the issue. When adding reference labels and setting the layout arrangement of the reference lables to Rows and Tabualr Style, the issue is reproduced.
Hi,@dylankaiser4
I am glad to help you.
Thank you very much for reproducing the problem for me, here are my test results
Thank you very much for reproducing the problem for me, here are my test results
1. Continue to use the "tabular" layout
This layout will allow the content to display the data in a table-like format, but since the length of the cells inside the table is limited, the content will be omitted if it is too long, I suggest you modify the percentage to allow the results to fit the size of the card, or just zoom in on the new card visual to give the internal MEASUREMENTS name more display space
2. Use the "sentiment" layout instead.
The "silence" layout will make the content linked together in sentences, no matter how narrow the width of the card is, the content will be displayed on a separate line and will not be omitted.
I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

Thank you @v-jtian-msft.
I have implemented the sentance style as a short term fix.
When I update the value area in Power BI Service or Power BI Desktop, setting it to 30%, there is still a lot of white space off to the right of the value.

Do you also experience this same issue, @v-jtian-msft?

We have found the same issue in a report developed with the May version, when updating to June, it does not show the margin correctly.
We even have other cards where the content has disappeared.
Using the option layout -> style -> sentence , the information is displayed again, although it is not the expected layout.
Hi,@dylankaiser4 I am glad to help you.
According to your description, you are experiencing incorrect spacing when using card visual.
If you are using card(new), you can refer to my test below for the spacing settings.
The spacing between cards can be customized in this way
Since the New KPI Card Visual Object is currently in preview, ensure that the Preview feature is enabled in Power BI Desktop. Go to File > Options and Settings > Options, navigate to the Preview Features tab, and verify that New Card Visual Objects is turned on
". Disabling and re-enabling this feature can sometimes resolve unexpected issues.
Here's a document about new cards that I hope you'll find helpful.

Unfortunately, I have not found any problems with the spacing settings during my testing, but if you can, please ask other users in your organization to check if they have problems with the spacing settings of the new card as you do. If possible, could you provide a screenshot of the "Format" pane settings of the visual object with the problem? This would be very helpful in solving your problem.
I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
