Hi
I'm trying to connect the installed gateway to an SQL server on the same subnet (two different machines).
I can connect the SQL server with Management Studio from the gateway-PC, but if I try to add this as data source I get the following error.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Best regards
Hans

Hi @hapeta,
Can you connect to it from Desktop in the gateway machine? I would suggest you check out the credential. Can you share the connection parameter when you set up the gateway? You can mask some sensitive part. Maybe you try another credential for there is more than one credential type.
Best Regards,
Dale

Hi Dale,
it worked. My mistake was I wrote the named instance in the Database field.
With the name of the database it worked.
Thank you
I forgot to mention that on the SQL server are two named instances:
one SQL Server 2014 that works with the data gateway and one SQL Server Express that gives me the error.
Any ideas?
Thank you
