Yesterday I was working iwth the new Workspace audiences and I found a couple of issues that I am hoping that someone could help me with.
1. I have an an external drill through PBIX that is loaded to the gateway, and just marked as hidden in the app because it is shared across multiple PBIX files. With the new Audience view, I can no longer have it hidden because the drillthrough stops working. there is no way to make it invisible in the bar, but still usable in any of the audience tabs. It only works like it used to in the ALL TABS sections. I dont want to put it in the PBIX files, because if i make a change, i will need to change it multiple times
2. I tried to make the drillthrough visible and rename the drill through on the workspace, and then the drill through stopped working saying debug: can not find clsid #####. I had to delete it and republish. i couldnt just rename it back
3. I seem to have to hit update app on each audience for adding and removing users. the update app does not seem to update all of the apps. Is this by design. Having 5 different audience views, is not saving any time if i have to update each one separately each time
Hi there, I am just trying to find out if these issues have all been resolved now?
An update would be really helpful as we have be holding back from enabling this feature across multiple apps in a large organisation so the ramifications are massive if they haven't been resolved. Thank you
I have an an external drill through PBIX that is loaded to the gateway,
did you mean to say workspace?
yes. loaded to the workspace
