Please find below my responses for questions asked:

    1. What's the error?

The 'Column5' column does not exist in the rowset. Then i checked in the excel file on SharePoint but there was no data in Column 5, i manually selected couple of columns from column 5 onwards and cleared contents and deleted it. Again refreshed in service but still same error.

When i refreshed the same pbix file locally on my desktop it refreshed successfully. So there was no issue in excel file.

    2. What's your data source?

Azure SQL DB and SharePoint folder

    3. Have you configured the gateway?

    Gateway is not required.

    4. Which refresh method do you take?

The first refresh in the morning happens through flow. And after that end users do manually refresh the dataset.

    5. Can you successfully refresh your dataset manually?

In service no, but able to refresh the report locally.

I got rid of this by publishing the same pbix file again and now it's refreshing fine.

I would suggest before you push any changes let it be power bi, flow, adf please test the same as i was not able to convinince end user what would be the issue if i was not able to reporduce it locally. I know power platform is big universe.
